Kerrymor’s Darby O’Gill
Kerrymor's Darby O'Gill competes in dressage in May 2000.
The 14-2 hand gray gelding (1996, out of Nicole by Lynfields Kiltuck) showed in dressage in 1999, 2000 and 2001 and finished fourth statewide at training level in the Missouri Horse Shows Association in 2001.
He earned his gold medallion in dressage from the American Connemara Pony Society.
He also competed in hunter/jumpers.
He jumped out of every fence at the farm, though he stayed near his buddies and didn’t leave. Phew.
Still alive as of 2025, his nickname is Kurt.
He is the last horse at Kerrymor Farm. His hobbies at age 29 include smacking a ball at bowling pins and other targets.
