Kerrymor’s True Colors
Kerrymor's True Colors poses at a dressage show in the late 1990s at the Bridlespur Hunt Club.
The 15-2 hand bay halfbred mare (1989, out of Kentucky-bred Canteloupe Island by Lynfields Kiltuck) competed successfully in dressage and hunters.
One of her crowning glories came at a local schooling show in 1998, when she won a competitive crossrails under saddle class of 20 horses. The McKennas felt as if she had won the Olympics.
She was the spitting image of her granddam, Round Robin’s Easter Bonnet.
