Rebecca Star
The bay pony (1986, out of Kerrymor Teatime by Lynfields Kiltuck) was bred by Stonehurst Farm in Southern Illinois. She showed in a few hunter shows in Arizona and had one foal by Foxglove’s Killian Red, a gelding named Kan’s Autumn Shamrock, before eventually becoming a sport horse broodmare for Sharon Michael of Kaleidoscope Farm in Kentucky.
“She has been very consistent in producing really nice movement,” Sharon said, noting that her clients were small adults looking for a mount that fit their frame and was closer to the ground than a huge warmblood. Rebecca, when not nursing foals, was turned out with weanlings to teach them “herd dynamics.”
We have added a photo of one of her offspring, Peek-A-Boo, sired by a pinto son (Windwalker) of Kaleidoscope’s well-bred Oldenburg stallion, Weltstern.
